Department of Home Affairs announces extension to new immigration legislation

The Minister of Home Affairs has announced an extension until 1st June 2015

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) South Africa has announced that it has granted a postponement until 1st June 2015 of the requirement for an Unabridged Birth Certificate and written permission for children travelling to and from South Africa.
 
This announcement follows Home Affairs previous advice that all parties would need to comply with the new regulations previously intended for travel from 1st October 2014.
